OldenWorld Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 I see all of these people openly admitting to having a desire to play a leaked copy of the game, prior to release. Now I don't know about you guys, but whilst I am incredibly eager to finally play GTA V, the reason I am so excited is because I actually enjoy waiting. I get excited about being excited, does that make me weird? I torrented Dead Rising 2 before release, and I downloaded a US VPN that fooled Steam into thinking I was living in America to give me access to Dead Island 3 days before it was released in Europe (the US got it first, I hate it when companies do that), and whilst I enjoyed both games; I can't help but feel as if I cheated the system. I didn't enjoy them as much as I could have, if I was simply patient instead of getting my hands on them early. I bought Dead Rising 2 the moment it was released, although I knew what to expect; so playing it on release simply nullified all anticipation I had for the game. If a leaked copy of GTA V was released, whilst I would indeed be tempted to play it, I'd have to stop myself. Being given a release date is important to me. The anticipation of waiting for the game almost outweighs actually playing it. It's going to be an amazing game, so for your own benefit, savor the excitement before you crack open a fresh copy of the game, insert it into the console, and finally, after all this time; play this wonderful game. antisatan7 and Big Danny K 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
