Europa
A part from killing them, how will we be able to interact with them? I read we can raise the middle finger to them and watch their reactions... but what can we also do? Can we talk to them?

Europa
Yeah I hope there are more ways we can interact with them. The world would look more "alive" Edited September 10, 2013 by Europa
Champers
If you get into a car crash with pedestrians, they will flip you off, and you can also flip them off. I also heard from a preview that you can talk and socialize with pedestrians, don't know if it's like Red Dead Redemption with the taunt/greet option, or another way, we'll just have to wait and see. A quote from the GTA Wiki; "Full conversations with any pedestrian, and the player will be able to make friends with pedestrians as well. The rest of the information is left undisclosed to the public for the time being," It has also been confirmed that pedestrians will react to what you do, so if you rob someone, they might call the cops, film you or try to take you down themselves. It has also been mentioned that pedestrians have lives of their own, so if you see a woman walking in downtown Los Santos in the morning, you may see that same woman driving to her work later on in the day, and then driving back home at night, quite interesting if you ask me. Also, like in IV and other Grand Theft Auto games, you'll see pedestrians standing, talking with others, walking around, and such. It was also mentioned by TypicalGamer in one of his videos that pedestrians can offer you jobs, like the random encounters in Red Dead, and say if you're hunting in the wilderness, you may get attacked by a drug addict, although I don't know where he got that information from. And also from TypicalGamer, if you're by Vinewood and downtown Los Santos, you may see those people in costumes promoting movies and TV shows, if you take out your camera and take pictures of them, they will pose for you. I hope this helps, just went around digging some sources for the information. Edit: I found more information; the clothing pedestrians wear will vary on where they live and work, e.g., you will see a lot of formal attire in Rockford Hills, and rarely any tramps. Also, if you put on a mask in public, pedestrians will panic and may call the police, or run away. And, there are 5 times as many pedestrians than there were in IV, so, it'll be uncommon to see a pedestrian near an exact look-alike. Second Edit: Pedestrians in diving gear can be found near beaches and bodies of water, and it is possible to see divers underwater searching for sunken goods.
