LiGzz
I just got through with my preorder (This forum was instrumental in explaining that I don't need to pay extra for it.) and I remembered the whole promise about the blimp.. Will that be something I'd download from the marketplace or would it be preloaded?
Kihz
You'll have a code in the game case. It will probably spawn in a set location on the map after the code is put in, then you can go and fly it. When it blows up or something, it'll just respawn like any other single-spawn vehicle. Francoghini
You will most likely get a code in the game box which you can redeem in the market place to download the blimp
gevans81
Don't get this blimp thing, why on earth would anybody want to drive/pilot one of those? It would be nice if we could jump off it but not sure if that is going to be happening.

Creasy47
I think the blimp is a nice feature, and hell, it's FREE if you reserve the game. What's there to complain about? I'm sure it'll be one of the better ways to get a relaxing look at the city and surrounding countryside.
ash82
How will they know if it's a pre-order or not? For example if my pre-order isn't collected within 2 days of release then it will go on general sale. So will the download code still be inside? And what about those who go to midnight release? They'll be given a different version?

They usually have the code on the receipt if you preordered. that, or it might be packaged inside the case (what i normally get when i preordered games). I think they usually have a separate stack from preorders (which have the code in the case or reciept) and another stack with the game that isn't a preorder. so no codes inside of those case. I could be wrong though
Creasy47
Sometimes, pre-order incentives are really just incentives that ship with new games. My girlfriend bought me 'Black Ops II' (unfortunately) about two days after it came out, and I had the Nuketown pre-order stuff with my copy. Other times, pre-order incentives are just codes on your receipt, like all of my 'Halo 4' material, or the air shortcut for BF3 when I pre-ordered 'BF4.' jjchowdy
I've gone in to buy a game shorlty after it came out. (One of the COds. I think). Someone hadn't picked up their preorder and they sold it to me. All the preorder stuff was included in dat box Bo. I'm sure R*/playstation will be happy to take some of your money on down the line for any of the preorder bonuses. Bikes, cars, hotknifes, weiners, garages, etc; Hold on. Did someone say Weiners?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

It would be nice if we could jump off it but not sure if that is going to be happening. I could maybe understand why somebody would say this if they gave you different options for pre-order bonuses, and they thought that one of them was better than the blimp. But why would anyone choose not to get a pre-order bonus with the game. At worst, it will sit there unused, and it would be like not getting it. But at least you'd have the option to use it if you wanted to. And more ways to explore the world is a good thing. truthful

RichyB
If the download code is in the box, presumably...the store staff are just putting them in to the boxes of those who pre-ordered, cause there isn't a separate batch of games for pre-ordered games. So surely this means there's just a big box of slips game stores have they just put into pre-ordered games?
rojovo74
As long as I get to fly the blimp, I'll be happy...and I'm NOT pre-ordering since it states in the pre-order info that those who pre-order get EARLY ACCESS to the blimp, which means I should still get access to the blimp even though I didn't pre-order...I assume I'll either unlock it during story mode, or find it while exploring the map. They probably stuck it at LSIA, which is most likely a restricted area lol. But if I do NOT get to fly it, then that constitutes false advertisement...am I right? semie
The blimp will provide a nicely paced travel option for aerial scoping and possibly aerial photography... but I dont see why we wouldn't be able to bail out of like any other aircraft in the game. I am looking forward to floating above it all from time to time.
Badmotorfinger92
I Pre-Ordered cause I wanted hand on first with my GTA brothers, the blimp and whatever else is just extra. A great Extra I have to say.
