Will crews work like Posses in RDR?

In RDR you were able to recruit people to do your own jobs through an invite system. The guys in your posse can go up to 8 man gangs. Will crews be like an equivalent to what posses are?

More than likely.

 

I liked the posse system in RDR so I do hope its the same. I cant see how it could be anything different TBH. It was a simple system that worked so I do hope they carry it over.

Perhaps the only difference will be is the name of your crew, when made through social club, will be displayed in-game?

Basically. You'll be able to invite players you run into in game to join your crew. The major difference between crews and posses is that if the person accepts the invite he/she will remain part of your crew until he/she chooses to leave the crew. Plus there are recorded achievements for your crew like defeating other crews, experience gained, ect.

 

Unlike posses though, most will find a few crews they like and alternate between them depending on their play session. Very few people will accept crew invites in game if they plan on leaving it by the end of the session, so the whole rdr posse feel won't be there.
