Eitherway I liked the elder scrolls series in general ive been playing since arena and ive been playing gta since 3. I think they are both good series in their own respects. This is coming from someone who plays gta IV every day and who has only played skyrim 3 times in his life. GTA IV was awful but I have a fetish for awful games unfortuantly. But it's too little too late. Not enough time for mere trailers to make enough impact to sway the votes in GTA's favor. GTA IV was the biggest deciding factor in whether GTA would've won or not. But now when people look back IV has no where near the lasting power people thought it might and as a pure stand alone, it can't stand up to any of the last 2 if not 3 ES games. I have 250+ hours in Skyrim alone (with just one char) The quests in it are similar to GTA4 - go there - do this - come back. In fact all games are like that. Im glad GTAV is coming out now because in another 6-12 months I can see myself growing out of video games all together.
