In my opinion if they hasn't of added all the extra activities and what not by delaying the release, this map would have been the biggest let down I've ever had from dma I mean r*... Looks to me like there is a major lackage of towns excluding maybe 2 small ones, and your drive to said towns will be like this, look to your left mountains, look to your right some hills with trees and maybe a bear. Just because people don't agree with him it doesn't mean they are chewing him up. His negatives don't even make any sense. Why is there a need of a big city in the south and north of the map? It doesn't make the map more believable. I much rather have a city the size of Los Santos instead of two cities half the size which would mean Los Santos looks even less like Los Angeles. And too much country side? If you liked RDR's country side I don't see how you can then complain about the country side in GTA 5. Or how about GTA SA? The cities in there combined come close to the size of GTA SA and yet in GTA 5 there is just not enough city? I don't see it. Or how about the claim of the highway leading nowhere. Since when is Paleto Bay nowhere? There are also more villages then you can see on the map. You can't even see the buildings on the northern shore of the Alamo Sea but we do know there are houses out there. It is the same along Route 68 in the desert. The map is hardly devoid of settlements. I am baffled how anyone who has been remotely following the mapping thread can even end up being surprised. If you thought that GTA 4 was fine you really can't complain about GTA 5 considering you get a city the same size. Don't like the country side, don't go there. Or maybe you could learn to appreciate it instead of immediately dismissing something you clearly have no clue of. Sure I like the country side but its so vast, big, and boring compared to the city. They should of build another city on the map. What in hell ur gunna do in the countryside instead of exploring? Ride dirt bikes through trails and mountains. Climb mountains and hike the woods while trying not to get attacked. Play fetch with Chop Parachute from mountains, ride the cable car to the beach from the mountain and easy access to get back up to the mountain with the cable car. Swim in the huge lake and discover items. Ride atv's and other various transport. Pick up hitchhikers and do bounty hunting. Follow people on foot and car ad see what they are up to. Stealth kill random people in the woods and also animals. Play fetch with chop in mount chilliad Walk the forrest and dessert at night time and sh*t yourself with cougars trying to attack you....
