17th
It's too small. It's not IV + SA + RDR. It's not 3,5 x RDR. Map should be at least 2x bigger

5HT2a
I was one of the biggest skeptics after seeing the blueprint map. As it turns out, there are a ton of little "streets inside of streets" on the Los Santos map, and as such, the game definitely looks big enough to me. I'm happy. Cilogy
There is literally no pleasing you people, regardless of how big the map is. What the f*ck is with this generation and it's "quantity over quality" bullsh*t?
DryBomber5
Lol, what kind of question is this? I think the real question is whether or not Los Santos is "big enough" but I'm not complaining at all. The map is plenty big and those of you who don't think it's big enough must be really blind or just dumb.

Eutyphro
Looks like the City is too small, but oh well. I will have fun It's 20 percent bigger than Liberty City.. look at that beauty San Andreas is clearly bigger. It's TWO TIMES BIGGER than San Andreas. Your comment reminded of me of Zoolander. I'm fine with the map size, assuming it's full of life -unlike San Andreas, no animals to be seen anywhere- and that it's not that hard to find a vehicle in the middle of nowhere in case yours gets blown up. neuhier

felixuta
I dunno it just seems dissapointing compared to San Andreas map But this isn't San Andreas. If people want a map size from a game from 2005 then they need to accept that the game they want will also have 2005 graphics. 1. *2004 2. Actually, it looks even bigger than San Andreas. You all gone stupid r* said it's 4 TIMES BIGGER than SA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sats
I am with you bro,The map is definitely small.only two towns and a city and a large empty desert empty mountains and useless lake in middle of map.san andreas had 12 towns and 3 cities and lot of diverse areas.Rockstar have fooled us.only thing that interests me is the animals in the forest although the forest area is small. cuoreviola89
Consider that GtaIV was almost flat, while this one has plenty of hills, mountains and underwater explorable ground.. you should "stretch" the map and make it flat to compare it to gtaIV... if a giant stomps on a mountain, it's flat surface will be way bigger than the 2D vision from the sky. Don't know if you got me...

ColdHearted
It's really a lack of the small towns that R* kept going on about that makes the map look small especially when you compare it to San Andreas which had 3 Cities and a few small towns, apart from Grapeseed, Paleto Bay and Chumarsh there's nothing really going on and on top of that the actual City Of Los Santos looks kinda pathetic TBH, no East La, no Long Beach, No Mid City, Inglewood, Baldwin Hills etc.. there's just the nice parts then the hood, no in between. XXVIII
From my standpoint, there is not one iota of dissatisfaction, pertaining to this beautiful Grand Theft Auto: V schematic, nor was there when Rockstar unveiled the blueprint. The full extent of this map is poised to be unprecedented, and free-roaming will pay high testament to this.
TheTechPoTaToCHIP
Keep complaining all you want, but this map is STILL the largest map Rockstar has made. Even if its not the fabled "GTA IV+RDR+SA" size it is still bigger than any one of them alone. Considering Rockstar's attention to detail, a map this large is colossal. And people are always ignoring the underwater area. Even if you think "It's only underwater it doesn't count" Keep in mind that Rockstar also meticulously mapped this area out, They modeled and textured each part of this area. Its not some generic underwater location. I mean if you lifted Los Santos above sea level, you will definitely see how large it is. Plus for the ones saying "The city is too small!" WTF DID YOU EXPECT? Red Dead Redemption barely had any cities but the deserts still felt alive. GTA IV was all city and it eventually got boring and dull (BTW. Los Santos alone is about the size of Liberty City which is the largest CITY Rockstar has made)
DCxMoneyxMurdaz
The map might be fake but all the people complaining about the size of the city saying it is small do you remember Vice City's small ass map which was big in game, Gta v's city is bigger then this and also I highly doubt R* would add a empty countryside all you people stop bitching. TEoS
While I definitely think R* fibbed a bit about the size, I'm not too bothered. It looks bigger than GTA4, and I never really learned my way around Liberty City proper, so as long as it's not a downgrade, and the map actually has interesting things going on in it, I'll be satisfied.
