GTA V Map Leaked via Strategy Guide

Nah it's legit. Rockstar agree'd that it was leaked from the Brady guide, but are now allowing it.

Ok, well you are wrong. They specifically said to keep monitoring the leaks from the playstation store download but we are 'free to allow posts of the map from the brady guide on the sites now'.

Seriously. Look at the scale ! The scale is NOT complete on the map..showing approx 2000ft. That is only 610m NOT 1000m the map is NOT 18km N to S.

 

 

 

Ya 2000 ft is 600 meter but that 2000ft mark is short of the 1000meter mark. The scale is correct it just was not used properly. This guy is wrong but the scale given is right. Someone please use the 1000m scale to create a grid over the map. I would do it if I had a pc

Yep this is exactly what I came up with, approx ~30sq miles.

 

That's it guys, the entire rectangle of the map including the surrounding ocean is 30 square miles. There's your answer. Oh and from top point on the map of land to the very bottom point is approximate 6.25 miles. From the farthest west point to the farthest east is approximately 4.73 miles. That's it folks.

Yep this is exactly what I came up with, approx ~30sq miles.

Exactly. The rate at which is spread was pretty remarkable. There wasn't a chance in hell they could have stopped that.

 

In a matter of minutes, how many sites it hit... Not to mention social media, and people telling friends via cell phones and whatnot.

I dont know about scales but isnt it easy to count map size based on the meter down left?

 

I took a ruler and when the down line is 1.6 cm (depends how zoomed you have it in your screen) the map height is 22.

 

The line counts as 1 km so map height is 14 km. And about 9 the lenght.

On the other hand this is too big. I dont know.

I am certain it is not a fake. Rockstar likely changed their stance because this leak can't possibly be stopped any longer. The game is coming out next week and Rockstar can't stop the flood. There will be people playing the game in a few days max.

In the comparison, the roads in iv look way thinner then the roads in los santos. It looks off by a good bit. I think liberty city takes up a little more space then that. I'm thinking blow up the liberty city part by 10-15% or until the thinnest, average size and thickest roads look identical on both maps.

You know how this is fake... ?? In the newest OFFICIAL TRAILER video, you'll see the VINEWOOD sign.. look all the way to the right side and you'll see the Dam. That Dam is no where to be found on that map image. There you go.

It looks pretty big, and I'm glad to see there's a nice balance of country, desert and city.
