atix
Hey all! So like i said a couple of weeks ago, the Portuguese website where i usually buy my games from gets the games into my hands 2 to 3 days earlier! And i think GTA5 will be the case, because the order is in preparation which means that it will ship in 1 day, or 2 tops. http://imgur.com/qVloERG Since the information is in Portuguese, i'll translate it. From the older to the newer date: Payment accepted Pre-order - GTA5 In preparation I'm guessing that by now some mom and pop's stores/websites should be doing the same, since they can more easily "bend" the release date. Share your happiness!
Francis44
I odered from Fnac aswell and it says something quite similar to that. Anyway that dosen't mean it will ship early, in the best case scenario we will probably get it Monday.
ered
It acually means that they received GTA V, If they want they can send it today or Monday. If you have luck they send it to you today but it doubt it. It's their choice. Edited September 10, 2013 by ered

Yes i'm well aware of that, the thing is that on this website, the step between "in preparation" and "dispatched" takes 1 to 2 days usually. (The keyword here is usually hehe). I'm just so excited i keep setting myself ready to disappointment. This game is going to be something truly epic.
TheRealBars
There used to be this local shop, kind of hidden away in the corner of the local mall. Everyone that was a regular down there could get games early, they would sometimes charge 5 pound extra as a 'tip' but all in all any game that was released from the late 90's to 2007 i was able to get a week early.. Shame they quit.. believe its a pet store now.. Got to wait till the 17th and 16th if i'm lucky. Edited September 10, 2013 by TheRealBars

In Portugal (at least in the city where i used to live in) there used to be a few stores like that. The kind of stores that sold electronics (VCR's, radios, fans, etc etc back in the day) AND videogames. They had no problem breaking the official release date. These days such stores are an extremely rare sight. Ah well...they were good while they lasted.
