The gameplay, location feel, and character building is about 90% of it for me, noises and little animation only make up the remaining 10% together. San An had the characters, game play and location spot on for me, so I didn't care - or even notice half the time when the guns went 'pap pap pap' or the cars sounded like an asthmatic breting in. IV sucked for me becuase the character were crap (besides Brucie, Packie, Jacob and 1 or 2 others), the place was dark and cold and cramped, and the story was annoying - again, I barely noticed the sounds of the cars. Only game in history to have realistic engine sounds is forza motorsport. Those are almost spot-on, because they recorded the actual engine sound of each specific car. I don't expect much from engine sounds in gta 5, because of forza motorsport. pernaboy Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) yeah, they said it's going to look like a racing game, I hope they meant sounds effects too... but I remember I have heard car sound in one trailer before and it was very alike to IV.. I liked Need for Speed ; most wanted 2012 sounds effect.. it was very realistic , specially in tunnels!
