Qub1
Remember how in San Andreas there was a mission where you would go to a restaurant in Liberty City? They copied a small part of the map and let you play in it. Now I was thinking, maybe they did this is GTA V as well, where we would be able to travel to other cities in certain missions. That would be really fun, I loved to just teleport to Liberty City (I installed a mod to make it bigger and more realistic) and actually play the game there (the mod also spawned peds and cars). If this is in, I think it would be nice to leave those places accessible via the airport. But yeah, what do you guys think? Most GTA games had something similar. gotb00st86
won't know until we all play it but it would be interseting
NickStone
We haven't even arrived in (the new) Los Santos yet, you're already wanting to leave? Personally, I won't ever wanna look back. I've spent enough time in the dreary, depressing Liberty City already, I'm not ever leaving until/unless a mission forces me to. But still, would be interesting to see what they have us do. Dope_0110
ONE, ONE GTA had that. Not ''most''. It could happen, but NOT IN EXTERIORS, because the draw distance would require them to have most of the city available. But I don't think there will be a mission there anyway. With most I didn't mean most GTA's had another city, I most of them had some mission where you had to travel on an airplane to some other place, for example San Andreas had it and GTA IV in the final missions as well. kjimboo
I loved that mission, I played on a console and put the super jump code and hopped over the barriers, of course not much was rendered behind that wall and you fell through the concrete into the ocean but it was nice being in liberty city

And that's exactly what didn't happen in most GTA's. It happened in SA. You didn't go to any other place in GTA IV, you were in LC all the time, unless there is some secret mission I never got to play. And even that is still by no means ''most''. If there is such a thing in 4 it makes it 2/8 main GTA games.

And in IV you had a mission where you'd be on an airplane shooting the bad guys, after which the airplay crashes? Remember final mission in the game. I'm not saying you go somewhere else but I meant like travelling in an airplane, that would be fun.

That was actually the last mission for Ballad of Gay Tony, and you were just over the city, whereas the original point you brought up was a mission in SA where you went to LC, and only a small part of that. You didn't travel anywhere in GTA IV unless you count Happiness Island when you chase Dimitri/Pegorino.
