Romel3 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Hey guys, Im really planning to Day 1 DL GTA V, are there any benefits to this other than convenience? I want to download it because the stores, near my place (Gamestop, Best Buy, the local mall, etc.) are bound to have it sold out. But if there was a store near me that had an extra copy left of the game on PS3, should I just buy that physical copy instead? And if yes, why? Also, other question I had in mind was that when and if I DL GTA V (which is 18gb right?) how long do you guys think it will take, considering the fact that my internet speed is pretty fast and I have 30GB left on my PS3, and when I load it up after it downloads, am I gonna have to go through an installer afterwards? Skulker87 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Other benefits will be minimal, maybe slightly reduced load times, slightly reduced pop in etc.... How long it takes to download depends on your internet speed, and how good Sony's servers are in your area. If you want to know your internet speed, do a test on speedtest.net. As long as you leave your PS3 on the download page and don't do background download, your PS3 will automatically install the game after it has finished downloading.
