Ryder_from_the_grave Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) i remember watching the snippet of this video during the VMA's and thought hmm,not sure if im feelin it.after i gave it a watch i had this strange nostalgic feel and was enjoying the fact that eminem is trying to bring back his old slim shady ways. i mean sure its not as genuine as it were back then because he seems to act on it rather than when he was on drugs but thats ok,because i actually like recovery anyways. i guess im just trying to see what are peoples thoughts on modern slim shady. im hoping MMLP2 will be dope. I've been trying to figure out why 'modern Slim' feels different and you're right, it's because he's acting on the persona rather than his drug habits making him that way. l911 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 never was i fan of eminem but i must say i respect him for taking inspiration from Beastie Boys this is what hip hop need - loud rebel party tracks that said - this track does not eaven close to BB level with too popy chorus and strange song structure.
