Hey there, I used the search section but couldn't find anything on this, so I was wondering if anyone has heard if there is a private mode for online? I really enjoyed this aspect in Red Dead Redemption because I live in the middle of butt-f*ck nowhere and have 1 kb/s internet.

 

It was just awesome to still be able to rank up alone and do all the challenges without having to worry about a connection, it was basically like singleplayer extended. Did any of you enjoy this mode or use it in RDR and are hoping it to make a return?

There will be a feature implemented known as "passive mode" which is similar to RDR's "friendly" free mode.

This sounds like the version for me...I hate all those online griefers!

I think there is. Also this should probably be in the GTA: Online section.

I thought about that I just wasn't sure if a vast majority of the forum members use that section or not.

Yes there is private mode. This was confirmed from Lazlow during one of his radio interviews in the past week.

Thanks a lot man. I wasn't sure cause I didn't get the chance to hear the interviews.

Man you don't even wanna know how bad it is. I ended up using 16 GBs of data in a month on my phone because I couldn't stand it. It's some sh*tty company that piggybacks off a major company using radio signals.

Yes. It has been confirmed that you can put private slots or make a game completely private for just you alone or

with a couple of friends.
