So it has been said you can instantly go from online to offline mode by pressing down on d-pad...If that is true does that mean you can play a free roam mode with your online custom character but offline? Does anyone know if such mode exists or if you can play online but with no other players in your "world?" Like, do everything you can as the trio other than the main story missions of course? Any info would be great or a link to something that talks about this topic.Give me your thoughts and comments (if no one knows for sure) if you would like this feature in the game! As an option, yes. like after i beat the story mode aka missions, with trevor, michael, and franklin, i think it would be cool to play with my custom made character in the awesome city of los santos without having other players bothering me but still able to cause mayhem with cops or pedestrians. I wonder how many missions/jobs in GTAO are on the disc and how many are just streamed from R*/Social Club when you join the game. It is all guess and wonder with me at this stage. BoogieMan181 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Share Posted September 10, 2013 well ranking up offline would be kinda cool i guess. i dont care about that. i just want to be able to do side jobs to buy a cool car and customize it without popping up on someones mini map and get killed because they know how to use a pistol. Dont get me wrong i love the fact i can get online and steal other players customs cars and take it to a abandoned warehouse were my buddies are waiting and when they follow their gps on their car i stole snipe them while they attempt to take it back haha but what about the times where you just want to go hunting or base jumping to see the scenery without having rockets making you jump off a bridge... idk just would be nice to have the opt. to play alone sometimes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is all guess and wonder with me at this stage. well on a video they said there is over 700 online missions and they will constantly add more im sure those are all online in servers. GTA is now known for how much you can customize... cars, clothes, tats, hair, even the inside of your house... why not be able to do all that with your own character but offline.... but still be able to shoot a gun... passive mode just means pass to me if i cant shoot cops or beat up some old dude that rear ends my lambo! Steven Mckenzie Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 The world dat is on the disc but rockstar were to dumb to put the character creation on the disc thats the only thing stopping you play with a custom character offline i have been bombarding rockstar with emails requesting GTAOffline as i call it.
