Kihz
For Black Ops II midnight release, my GameStop had a fighter jet and some military vehicles in the parking lot. One of the trucks had a Black Ops II tournament going on. I live in PA and the surrounding areas aren't all that big. So, being I live in a smaller part of the country, I was wondering what your GameStops, or other game stores, do for big games like CoD and GTA? I asked my local GameStop what they'll be doing this year and they said they can't release many details, but expect it to be bigger than the Black Ops II release. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. Again, curious as to what you guys have experienced at previous big game releases and what you hope to see for this one.

Setrakus
You're lucky, All my GS will probably do is give us the game and maybe run it on one of the indoor consolse for us to play while we wait. I'm just expecting long lines, and a boring wait.

element3215
For my Gamestop they have the midnight release game set up at a bar across the street so u can play at 10pm. Beer + playing the game early might be fun. I think i'll wait for midnight though. In Arizona Dui laws are super strict. The legal limit is.08% in your system but they can give you a Dui no matter what level you blow since Az is a zero tolerance State. A Dui costs an average of 10grand here. Nemesis2252
every midnight launch ive been to at my gamestop has had raffles and prizes. last one i went to was a dual-launch i believe because EA Sports was there with Fifa13 and the new NFS game. they gave out shirts, had contests, gaming vans, the whole ordeal. my gamestop also has a huge gaming stage with over 14 screens and consoles where you can play games there. Kihz
I'm actually kinda shocked that not many do special things like this. Like I said, coming from a smaller area, I expected the bigger area stores to do bigger things.
