In the wave of previews a few weeks ago, they confirmed that you can buy dogs, customize them (collars, at least), they can be killed if you aren't careful, and there is more than one breed. I cannot wait to read articles full of creative things to do with dogs in the game. If Michael and Trevor can't buy dogs I will be disappointed, because I would love to do double damage to a dog or shoot it in slow motion, yet I have always known you shouldn't do that in real life.
