I'm glad they aren't making a movie, it'd be good to watch, but it would ruin the game. If people want a feel for GTA, they need to play it. The plot of the entire series is "Crime happens." What do you want, the main character to spend hours looking for packages of coke to unlock the minigun? You know how long it took for comic book movies to become a respectable genre? It wasn't until 1998's Blade that Marvel cared enough to make a good movie out of one of their characters, and they still botch it as much as they succeed. And DC are still content to whore out Batman and Superman while their other heroes wait for the Justice League movie we'll never get.
