Sure it will be an improvement, but if you are expecting a huge improvement you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. Im still expecting to see noticeable pop-in, short LOD draw distance and dropped frames. Dude....even in the gameplay trailer and Online trailer you see these detailed faces. It just is the game. MosquitoSmasher Posted September 9, 2013 Author Share Posted September 9, 2013 Vanilla GTA IV is a grainy eye sore to look at nowadays. Of course when it released it looked pretty amazing. They sure have done some amazing things to make V look as good as it does. (And a 5 year dev. cycle sure does help) In 08 this was state of the art design. That's what I'm saying. It is really grainy but still can hold it's own for today's standards. Oh i can agree with that. IV can look really good if it's a certain time of day in the game. Not in the morning, it looks very blurry than, grainy shows, dither effect on buildings, but around afternoon/evening, it can look quite pretty indeed.
