TDM, Races etc. question..

Sorry if this has been talked about before, I spend most of my time in the GTA V/News section and not so much the Online part, so I may have missed out on this discussion

 

So when we want to play online we just select our character on the character wheel and seamlessly go to out Online character in the open world. Correct?

 

So with this, do we know how we can start a TDM and those gametypes? Do we just open out phone and select them, or are there locations throughout the map (like missions markers) that you just walk into and it will take you to a lobby? I am just curious.

Answering your first question. Yeah you are correct you will just press down on the d-pad and the camera will zoom out into the sky then down onto your online character.

 

For the second question I believe there will be different game modes available straight from the the phone or an in-game menu which will put you into a lobby but there is also the option to create or choose maps or locations for deathmatch, races, etc. and then place a marker down in which the players in a free roam lobby can vote and then the game can be played with everyone in the free roam lobby then when it has finished it goes straight back into free roam.
