The next day people put up missing posters for their loved ones who worked on high level floors, the truth was they had no chance of surviving. Maybe thats the real reason planes were left out of IV as liberty city is new york and the media would have shown that you can fly planes into buildings in new york. As much as I want larger planes in GTA V, the map isn't really big enough to accomodate larger jets with only 2 airports (I don't count the fort as you'll probably get a wanted level for landing there) that you can use that aren't spaced out enough. The best thing you can do in this game if you want to be a pilot is to pretend the Shamal is an ERJ-145 (if larger planes aren't flyable). Yes, San Andreas allowed you to fly bigger planes, but there were more airports. It also made more since since there were 3 cities. This game only has one, but oddly enough, you can probably fly at a higher altitude in GTA V than JC2 despite a smaller map size, provided that CVG report on their off-hands demo months ago was correct. Nope, but no one knows either way. I would like to be able to fly 747's, and other mid-sized models like A319 in game, but there aren't that many airports. I am sure you dont mourn bigger losses of life like the Tsunami where nearly 3 hundred thousand died in 2004.. or the hundreds of thousands lost in wars since 9/11. Faux sympathy from 10 million people is worthless, Leaving the ones that were directly affected to get over it themselves without it being some big media circus every year means so much more. You cant demand sympathy. Doesnt mean it is something that should be mocked either. If you think a British computer game wont have planes in it because of 9/11 then you are one of those deluded folks who thinks PETA has super powers over the gaming world. I want to see big pax planes in the game just because it is something else to play with and fly, But personally if I have to take off a 747 at los santos and land it back there because the other runways arent large enough then it wont bother me if they arent in.
