I hate those guys that come into free mode and ecxpect not to die. That's so stupid its like driving a car and expecting it not to run out of gas. The basis of online is competition and its always one guy that's going to kill you so don't complain and just play the game

Those comparisons are also not even close to being similar in any form.

 

I hate those guys that go all CoD tough guy mode thinking killing people in a game is empowering, and makes them tough or better.

 

Sure being are going to be killing people in free-roam, but no need to be a trolling dick about it and spend all of your time following people around just to repeatedly kill them preventing them from doing their own thing. There's a hell of a lot more to GTA V free-roam, compared to what we had in GTA: IV.

On gta 4, yeah I guess your view makes sense since there's nothing to do besides kill each other. Now there's tons of sh*t to do, so being that guy who just follows the same dude around killing him just makes you an asshole. Luckily we have the bad rep function in place to deal with people like that.

 

Killing each other in free roam is fine. But if someone's just following me around constantly trying to kill me it's annoying, even if they're sh*t and I have no problem taking them out every time they try. We should be able to do all the co-op activities offered without having a room full of people treating it like it's a death match. Go into a death match if that's what you want and actually get ranked and rewarded for your kills.

 

While I do love fighting other players in free roam where it's appropriate, I think people treating gta online like they treated gta 4 will really take away from the gameplay.

My comment wasn't specific to CoD, but it's found a lot more there. People getting their jollies out of making other people miserable. I know for a fact people are going to be getting into GTAO and running around shooting people in the face, following people around just to kill them because they are easy kills and it makes them feel good.

 

I don't imagine anyone would get angry getting shot and killed in the street a couple times in the hour they were playing for no reason whatsoever, but for people to turn free-roam into a deathmatch and go around looking for those easy kills and people to make miserable, with everything GTAO has to offer for things to do, as well as designated deathmatch game types, there's really no excuse.

 

GTA: IV I could understand, but not now with GTAO

I see that as being a bit different though.

 

If someone manages to kill you for no reason (or for whatever reason), and you decide to kill them back and you guys end up starting a little rivalry that's one thing, you guys are openly starting your own little feud.

 

But I don't really think there should be any reason for people to be going out of their way to be treating Free-roam like it's deathmatch, and spend their time trying to rack up as many kills as they can for no reason other than to be annoying.
