They want people who already paid to come in at 10pm and grab a pick up slip, then come back at midnight wtf? All these directions for a midnight release I want it to be a one stop shop. So no fighting, stealing or anything? No but expect to hear conversations that make you want to . I suggest an ipod. Being high doesn't hurt either. Not internet nerds, such as yourself, just kids who haven't been the a midnight launch before. And to answer your question OP you got a bunch of people in a huge ass line chilling, relaxing and bullsh*tting for a few hours until the game comes out. I already paid mine off Don't worry about that, my GameStop tells us to do that with every midnight release. I'm guessing that makes it easier for them, but I almost always get there around 11:45, go in and pay the game off, get my receipt and then get in line. This helps the traffic through the store go smoothly, however there is always that one guy who didn't grab their receipt and needs to pay last minute. AcidicDavey Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Being 21, I've never been to a midnight release before (as the last game I was so hyped for was IV and I was 16 then!), I'm really not sure what to expect from my little UK city of 50,000 people. I've just got this image in my head of 50,001 people queuing all around town lol! I'll drive down at like 12:30 and sit in the car and watch the line trickle away... You will be called by said group number and being first to come in or first in line doesn't mean that you will be first to get your game at 12. But they said if you want to wait in line you're more than welcome to. I'd rather sit in my Lincoln with heated leather seats and a cup of coffee while I watch the suckers stand.
