I too had the tip of my finger chopped off when I was a kid, but they managed to glue it back on. Now the end of my ring finger looks like a bell end. When we got her it was completely infected with MRSA and her kneecap was completely visable. The skin around the knee was black and dead. She ended up having to lose her leg because of it. She told me she would have never came in if her husband didn't make her. The amputation and ER visit cost 10 time more then a simple clean and bandage though. Haha i can top it! I had my thumb cut on a piece of metal 2 months ago. It was hanging just on a piece of flesh. Good thing it didn't cut the tendon, so it still works.
