FateRider
love house australia's system says drugs are bad, like nudity and other things aren't even involved in the game, like they are just calling this a drugs simulator
UltimateVenom
It's probably because the characters actually take drugs and they play a large role in the story... who cares anyway, it's un cut and that's all that matters!
Phyxsius-
Australia is getting closer to banning sex . Their puritanism is beginning to be annoying.

This ^. Probably think that people will see the main characters as role models or something and will encourage people to start doing the same as characters in a video game, you know that kind of BS. Hate it when news teams blame video games for shootings and violence etc.

Hate it when news teams blame video games for shootings and violence etc. If the politicians blame it on TV and the actual flesh and bone role models, especially the ones that open fire in schools, they will be skinned alive. So, naturally, they are trying to pick on the "meh" and get voting capital. For them, the "player" is still the image of a 14 years old pimpled kid with glasses... JOSEPH X
love house australia's system says drugs are bad, like nudity and other things aren't even involved in the game, like they are just calling this a drugs simulator I don't think you are analysing that too well. It is saying that they are all potentially bad, but rates them by their impact on the game.

Pyrrhus
The consumer advice provided by the Australian Classification Board only mentions the classifiable elements which have the highest impact.
ralf_s
How can they say the violence will have a lower impact? People will be getting shot dead/blown up all over the place!
Pyrrhus
The violence in GTAV would be allowed under the MA15+ rating and doesn't need to be mentioned in the consumer advice because the game is R18.
