FullMetal
I smoke because it gives me knowledge. I lol'd... brilliant I kind of quit smoking (and I kind of didn't). Went from buying my own smokes/a pack a day roughly to smoking 2/3 cigarettes in a week (well, last 2 weeks I did that due to sh*tty weeks/alot of stress at work/...). But in general I kind of quit smoking like almost two months back completely.

Smith John
The only reason I would ever smoke is for girls, it's such an easy way to meet chicks outside nightclubs, I see my friends doing it all the time, they ask to borrow lighters even if they have one, or offer durries to chicks who don't have any. But it's not really worth it just for that, I just need to be more inventive if I don't smoke. Ah, so that's why girls are always asking me for a light outside nightclubs. Brobinski
I've started smoking when I drink in the last year or so. I buy fags when I buy my alcohol for predrinks and usually just buy whatever cheapest pack of 10 the off-licence/supermarket has. I couldn't tell you exacly why I started, but once I did I really dug the social aspect of it. Whether it's outside a club or at a house party, there'll usually be at least one or two other smokers and the shared activity means it's always easy to spark up a conversation. It sounds really bad to endorse that side of it, but I have made a bunch of friends and improved friendships because of smoking. One example in particular sits in my mind of a friend from uni: we moved in the same circle and hung out as part of a group together often, but once she found out I smoked we'd often find ourselves chatting just the two of us while we smoked outside. And she's one of the small number of people from uni who I've been in touch with since our course finished. So don't smoke kids. But if you do, be social about it and make the best of a bad addiction. Edited September 10, 2013 by I So Brink

Smith John
@I So Brink Pretty much sums up my feelings. I'm not addicted to tobacco whatsoever...I can go weeks without having the slightest desire for a cig. Yet when I'm out on the town or at some party, or any event where I'm cosuming alcohol, I always need that little 'hit'. And like you say, it's a great way to socialise, as when you're out there puffing, you have this subconcious, mutual feeling with other smokers. And that's why it's so easy to engage in conversation from the get go. bash the fash m8s
Clem Fandango
I go through twenty or so smokes a day (but if I'm skint I'll smoke like five a day), not picky with brands but I'll usually get a pouch of tobacco and roll my own unless I've only got a few dollars on me, then I'll buy a cheap pack or a few loose smokes. I used to be one of those "only when I'm drunk" smokers, but I started smoking through the day at some point, now I'm a chain smoker. I don't understand how people can not smoke, what do you do when you're waiting for the bus?

negrodamus
I smoke about half a pack a day, red Chesterfields usually. One pack of those where I live is about $6-7... 43 swedish kronor. For me I think it's mostly about the ritual of smoking itself that is addicting, not the actual nicotine kick. Once you've gotten into the habit of always lighting one up after a meal, to a cup of coffee in the morning, when walking somewhere, when drinking, even when bored etc etc... It's hard to just stop. Don't know if anybody else feels the same?
Sup3rman
I smoke many different marks, depends on how much money i have with me too. Mostly light blue L&M or golden Marlboro. Also brown Kent. Occasionally also cigarillos.

Stinky12
I don't smoke, but one of my former co worker does. Everyday after work he would complain he never have enough money for a decent lunch, and always have to eat from the dollar menu. Yet he has money to buy a pack of cigerettes which cost around $10. JonnyVercetti
10 Mayfair smooth £4.10 every 2 days. On a night out I'll go through a pack of 20. I smoke more when I'm with people but if I'm alone I'll only smoke 2, 3 or 4 a day. Always have a morning smoke though. Also after a hefty evening meal. Clem Fandango
Yes. Favorite strain = White Widow 30$ per gram around 10 grams a week so 300$ $30 a gram is outrageous! And no discount for buying n bulk? $300 for three grams is unheard of. Your dealer is bleeding you dry. Finn 7 five 11
Ah, so that's why girls are always asking me for a light outside nightclubs. So many lost opportunities I like how you completely misinterpreted that, like so far off the mark. girls ask for a light because they need a light, I wasn't implying that asking for a light means she wants the D. I'm not a f*cking dipsh*t 12yo. , it's called an icebreaker dude, as soon as they ask for a lighter you have a reason to start talking, and you can light up your own and start chatting to pass the time without seeming like a sleaze hanging outside clubs talking to chicks when they come out for a smoke. one of the hardest things is striking up the convo originally, hence the icebreaker, apparently you've never heard of it. So much awesome gossip and tidbits are shared when on smoko, and if you're direct superior (or theirs) smokes too you''re in a good spot. Just the whole crippling physical effects of smoking you have to deal with. OT: Nah I don't, and therefore relatively few people at work know me. MIGta
I used to smoke 20 a day but I quit about 9 years ago. I still have the odd few on a night out though and I really enjoy it. If it wasn't for the commitments I initially gave up for (house and kids etc) I would definitely smoke again. I used to smoke B&H Sovereign. Slightly cheaper than normal B&H and nicer imo. BrownBear
I don't understand how people can not smoke, what do you do when you're waiting for the bus? This. Times like that are the reason I smoke, when I'm on lunch in college, waiting for a bus etc. it's a perfect time to roll and smoke a rolly. Also, it's a great way to meet new people, say I'm in college and I go ask someone for a rizzla, it makes it a lot easier to start a conversation from there than if I didn't smoke.
