Jimmyhetfield Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) I don't know about you guys but for me this little thing, a little thing that goes a long way with regards to all GTA games, is the fold out map you get when you open the case for the first time.. A lovely touch by Rockstar which I hope they haven't dropped (I doubt this though) It's like a great past time for me. Just like when people like the smell of new books? I'm not weird enough to smell books but I'm definitely weird enough to smell a map! (joke) The new map where we shall all be soon spending a lot of hours of our lives in. Either way, I can't wait to get the game just like everyone else, but it begins with the new map. Below is a picture of the most recent map that is still on the wall of what is currently the study in my house or, my old bedroom. Below that is the space where (kind of ironically below a canvas I have of New York) the new map will go Share the same respect for the fold out map? Gdog Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 i still have the III and IV map on my wall. there is a space for V's map but I won't be putting up for a while after release. when i open the case i'm going to keep the map inside. i don't want to see it. same for the pause menu, i try my best not to look at the map there. i want to explore the game myself first. once i've seen the full map then i'll stick the poster up on my wall. Really hope we get a proper one in V but due to the blueprint map in the SE and CE I doubt there will be a regular map. Think, why would they put 2 in there?? wdoyle2 Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 It would be best if GTA carried on with what they have done with every series, ever since GTA 3 (I believe - don't quote me on it but I don't remember a map in GTA / GTA London nor GTA 2). Which consists of a Game Map with notable information / locations and a Manual.
