Andreas
Are you sure you have done it correctly? Simply copy the content in the code box into your post, and the video should be embedded. Andreaz1
Just post the link to the video, and nothing else. The forum will embed it for you. You don't need any -tags.

[youtube] No. Right copy the Youtube link and the tags as you have them and just paste in the reply box at the bottom of the page. Thats all you have to do. Tacymist
Try using this link: There definitely seems to be a bug here somewhere. I tried copying and pasting the link that was in your code tags and it wouldn't work despite there being nothing noticeably wrong with it. So it might have to do with that. This should work now:

When I copy and paste it from those code tags, it doesn't show. Andreas
Ah, I see what the problem is. If you simply paste the link, then the forum will shorten it, and if you copy that, then the link is broken. Go to YouTube, and search for a video. Then write [youtube], paste the link and then write . It should work now. Example: GTAForums Crew Chat Thread - The Sharks Chat Thread - Leone Family Mafia Chat Thread

Andreaz1
You don't need the tags. The forum does the embedding for you without them. Simply posting the link will work. Try pasting it in a reply and then press the preview-button. Gives Edited September 8, 2013 by Andreaz1

Andreas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvoD7ehZPcM It will not work if you colour the link (unless it's caused by a bug). Since it seems a little complicated, it is the best if you just paste the link of a YouTube video in your post; it should be fine then. Andreas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvoD7ehZPcM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvoD7ehZPcM I can see why it wouldn't work in the latter one; do not use any space after the opening tag and before the closing tag, it will not work otherwise. I have no idea, though, why the former one doesn't work. It seems to be some kind of bug, but I don't know why it appears. Hodgey.
Ok thought id try a random Youtube link and it worked fine for me. Best thing to do mate is tell the mods and maybe they can sort it out at some point as it seems to be a fault with the forum. Adriaan
Boy, it really is a terrible predicament you have found yourself in. Not being able to post a YouTube video on GTAF sounds like a nightmare I've had many times.
Tacymist
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvoD7ehZPcM The above link I copied and pasted from this: As you can see it doesn't work. For some reason url's pasted from between code tags don't work properly. The url below is identical to what was between the code tags, but was taken from my address bar. ^ As you can see it works. So basically, don't copy url's from between code tags and try to use them to embed videos, they appear to be bugged. But url's from your address bar will work normally.
