Magic_Al Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 "Different universes" is mainly Rockstar's excuse to avoid getting bogged down searching old wiki articles to make sure they write everything to fit past continuity (like Star Trek trying to be original after its 700th episode or something), but they can't resist putting in things that would make sense if it was the same universe. Confirmation of Grove Street is interesting, and it being run by Ballas is really interesting. OK, it's different, but why they did they do that? CJ or a CJ-like character wouldn't have to be dead for that to happen, he might have just given up on the 'hood because he was stinking rich at the end of the game and could live anywhere he wanted.
