Intercepting a Heist?

So I was just imagining. Will it be possible to intercept a heist? Would be amazing I mean imagine 3-4 guys are doing a heist. The driver is waiting for them to get to the truck or car or whatever.. they finish the heist with the money heading to the truck and BAM you appear out of nowhere (with or without friends) and start storming the guys who are doing the heist killing all of them, then you steal the money they initially stole and start running away.

 

I don't know maybe it would a bit annoying wasting a lot of time planning a heist and then suddenly a guy or two ruin all the plans but it would add much more realism to it

Well, if player blips are in the game it will be hard to "appear out of nowhere". At least the driver will see you all coming and probably alert his friends. Doesn't mean you cannot kill them anyway

 

But theoretically, yeah, what you said is a likely possibility and anyone doing a heist should take that into consideration

True true it would be great cause it adds more realism and it would make the guys making the heist being more careful. And the blips on the map could be an advantage for those doing the heist giving them a warning that someone is waiting for them making the heist a little more dificult. I dunno I'm a little overexcited for GTA Online considering its something I've waited for a long time but yeah would be nice to have stuff like this happening in the game

I think it would be cool as an option similar to RDR when its online first went live you had griefers who'd join your game simply to repeatedly kill you at whatever you were doing and it became an issue to the point that Rockstar had to implement a public private game feature for their free roam ( At least this is why I think they did it). So I think keep it optional in GTA online that way if you wand/like the extra challenge of other gamers possibly helping or hindering your heists you can play public.

I do and don't hope this is possible. Because I don't want to join some crew full of idiots who don't know how to stealth run things, I wanted to run some heists multiplayer by myself- would kinda suck to have a group of 5 guys coming to sh*t on me every time I try to run a heist. I DO hope its possible though because it adds an element of risk and fun. So ultimately, I'd say make it optional.

If you join the right crew, that won't be a problem anymore. Besides, doing heists by yourself will probably be extremely difficult... If you're talking about robbing a liquor store, then sure, you can do it. But a heist on a bank or something similar? You probably need a team for that ( or atleast another person).

Well that's where having the right crew comes in. Extra security and tactics will make it easy to defend a single person trying to rip a crew off.

What RPG's are for, think people will be silly to leave one driver outside on his own, There will be couple of guys hiding ready to take you out, because we all know some people dont like working for anything...................So if people wanna interrupt a crews heist, they better come correct, or end up respawning far away........you can always join in and help out just dont expect a cut lool, just a pat on the back

That's what having snipers positioned on the outside are for! To make sure you aren't ambushed.
