THUNDER-TRUMP
A lot of us feel we have paid more than a fortune in patience waiting for the game already. What is your name again? Willoughwitz Funkle Trumpet. Why?
zainzombie
Hell no. I dont mind multiple DLC packs and micro transactions. I wont even mind if they sell the creator tools for higher price than it deserves. I dont mind adding cars from IV that didnt make it into the V and slap the "shiny new cars pack", I dont even mind them doing something cheap like what ND did with tournament system (selling additional tickets) for uncharted 3 MP. But I do mind paying every month.

Macrorang
If it was $50-60/yr. with added bonuses for a subscription. Their would need to be more incentives besides simply using GTA Online...
GeneticallyDifferent
1. I would never subscribe to any game. 2. If they charged GTA V online I would not pay unless it is really amazing multiplayer like BF3. We have yet to see how good the GTA Online will be,because GTA IV online was terrible. I'm hoping for the best but untill I see that R* is capable of making good online experience I'm not buying.
Creasy47
I wouldn't. $80 for the special edition, and I'm sure I'll buy DLC, alongside paying $50 a year for Live? I couldn't justify spending another $15 a month for online.
CM_Kimmy
I've said it before and i'll say it again. If it's minimum of 50 players per free-roam server then i'll pay. But i won't pay for it in it's current state. No way. Just not enough activity online.
theonlytobyever
$7.50 might be my absolute max. It really depends on the content. With only 16 players online per room. 15 is a little much. Edited September 8, 2013 by theonlytobyever
WildTurkeyMcGee
Its disgusting how cheap some of you are! Its people like you that will hold back GTAO. 15-30 dollars a month is nothing. If you cant afford that then you probably shouldn't be wasting your time playing video games when you obviously have financial problems. I would like it if the game had a sub fee as well as micro transactions. That way the most money possible can be funneled back to R* to fund extensive content. M-B
I think to assume there will never be a charge is optimistic. At some point in the life of GTAO there will almost certainly be a charge. Weather it's a monthly/6month/ yearly subscription or one off payments for dlc. To expect a constantly evolving world to remain free, although it would be nice is pretty unrealistic. Maybe the first year will be free (apart from any dlc) but after that I'm expecting to have to pay to play online. It will be a shame for those who don't have the disposable income. But if R* are as busy as it sounds they will be keepin on top of new context etc it's bound to result in charges. Work costs money...no one works for free right? Smithlew2
I think we will have to pay a certain amount for another NPC who you go to for say 10-20 missions. You will only get that alleged 700 if you buy all of them. That's my thoughts on it

Hmm...nope. Rockstar will be just fine without having a mandatory online monthly subscription fee. Through the three editions available for GTA V, they'll make more than enough money. eastriver
To be honest, I wouldn't at all be shocked if GTA Online costed an extra bit of money... I'm even more suprirsed that they don't require an online pass... Considering how DLC packages with way less value have a fee... this is amazing that Rockstar does this. Guess it doesn't matter for them, they're gonna make billions of dollars without the extra fees anyways, I guess they rather make the fans happier and lost a bit of profits. Whoever thinks there should be a subscription fee to play GTA O, just pay Rockstar extra. Buy 5 CE copies if thats what makes you feel better. sunshine2002
I simply cannot believe we are getting what can essentially be described as a completely separate game - for FREE!!! Somehow I feel, that you didn't pay 150 EUR (187 USD) of the game like I did... Edited September 8, 2013 by sunshine2002

Oh yeah excuse some of us that wan't to be wise with how we spend our hard earned cash. f*ck all the users that pay for tuition, car bills, phone bills, rent, appliances, insurance, internet, etc. right??? Some people believe that already spending 60-150 dollars plus tax for a videogame along with their subscriptions to Xbox Live is enough to pay for a game and expect a full package to come along with it. zainzombie

Part of the reason I bought a PS3 was to avoid fees for online multiplayer, I don't really care if the online isn't quite as good as Xbox Live because I'm a cheap bastard who'll settle. Oh, and just because I try to avoid fees doesn't mean I have financial problems, I have money, and I have money because I usually don't spend it on tons of sh*t that I don't need. If I really have a passion for something, I am willing to spend much more than I really need to satisfy that passion, but it's always smart to avoid paying more when you don't need to.
