Do this...! 1. defrag 2. clean your regist 3. update all your card`s 4. reboot 5. install netframework 4.5 or latest ( do some reading ) 6.reboot 7. install clean GTA IV + EFLC no patche`s ..!! don`t start the game..!! 6. reboot 7. take down patch 1.7 for GTA IV and patch 1.2 for EFLC and patch the game`s 8. reboot 9. turn of your antivirus comletely..! make shortcut to desktop and run the game`s from there..!!!!!! If you run the games on STEAM or R-socialclub, windows live or what ever its up to you..! but this will make the game run a bit slower..!! and if you are online the computer works more. I dont use any of this, but i can if i will, i have both steam and R-socialclub and windows live. In game options: never ever us V-synk, anastrophic filter set to x2, reflex low or off, defination on, distans set to 22 or 1, ditails set to 10, vehicle set to 18, texturer and shadow set to medium, i have text and shadow on high, but start at medium..! ( i dont have a hi end cp..! ) Reselution: same that your computer runs on..!! noting else.!! For Nvidia user`s like me, go to Nvidias control-panel ( right klick on desktop ) set 3d program to`"let the 3d program deside" and then set the 3d program in middle between prestanda and quality. If you want to mod your game like me, dont ever start modding befor you made your first save in game...!!!!!!!! and use this tools works 100%..! If you have patch 1.7 and 1.2 for EFLC..! AND INSTALL IN THIS ORDER..! 1. NET Framework 4.5 2. X liveless ( take down the new one, it`s awsome..!!! ) 3. scripthookdotnet ( version 0.5.1.0 ) 4. SparkIV 0.7.0 Beta 1 5. GTA EFLC Trainer ( take down latest version ) 6. reboot...! And please, read the read me in all the programs..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take "hot coffee" and cookies relax and and do the reading I hope this will help some one, my games run like butter in sunshine...... and as i sad, I HAVE NO HI END COMPUTER..! My pc: Laptop Asus notbook Windows Vista home Premium servic pack 2 Cpu Duo Core T6500 2.10 Ghz Ram 4.00 GB 32 bites system Nvidia Geforse GT 130 M ( updated on line ) AND LAST: GTA IV and EFLC take som time to get warm so to speak, so when you put in mods in the game put one in..! not 2 or 3,4,5, mods in the same time...!!!!! start the game and play a little an see so your mod works, it will maybe lag a little after mod install but as i sad, give the game a little time, when i put in a new car it lag a little from start ( not every time ) after about 10 min. it runs like butter..! and i save the game,so giv it time..!!!!!! And after about 2-3 days it runs better and better,so all i can say is this games need time on lo end cp..! This little guide is just a start up to get yhings going,you can always tweak more, i am going to try the MSI Afterburner,its a lot of reading about that,but i will give it a try. T-ru Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 The game just has heavy and unoptimized effects, here is the effects that ruin performance/fps: 1st place: Shadows 2nd: Reflection 3rd: Bloom The good performance need clean registry and defragmented HDD and when you start the game for the first time you need to set the dispaly, audio, graphics ... etc settings and never ever ever change them! And i have seen a lot of post`s like this : "this mod don`t work,what am i doing wrong.? by the way i run version is 1.0.4 please help me." And in the start of that mod topic it`s clearly wrot like this:THIS MOD IS FOR VERSION 1.0.7 GTA IV AND 1.0.2 FOR EFLC..! This is just one exemple.. The point iàm after here is that they don`t do the reading..! because the kid`s are so hot to get GTA and start puting in mods.!, and they dont have a clue y it doesn't work.. And yes you are absolutely spot on, i havent changed anything..!! And that is not the point of this guide,the point is if they don`t do it right from scratch they have the same chance like a snowball in hell to get this game work ok on lo end pc..! And any program or internet conection you run at the same time with your games do effect on lo end cp. I have about 40 mods in GTA, 180 mods in OBLIVION, 150 mods in FALLOUT 3, and about 20 in TDU 2, and the game`s run smoth, and in GTA IV AND EFLC i have textures and shadows on high settings and i dont have a hi end cp as you can see...
