It would CRAZY if you can just buy a ticket and watch a basketball game as like a minigame or something. I remember in San Andreas they had sports statdiums and baseball fields that were always empty or inaccessible. The baseball stadium in LV just seemed like a waste of space. Looked cool, but the only purpose it ever served was a spot to go into when your wanted level was high and you just wanted to shoot police helicopters with rockets. LV had a lot of underutilized space and this might be the most prominent example. A baseball or football stadium in the current-gen scale would have to be large. You'd think there would have been some sort of Yankee Stadium mockup in Bohan, but I guess R* had something else to do with the space. A large stadium could be an interesting place for a MP shootout. As for actually "watching" a game, it could be some sort of friend outing thing I suppose. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." There was no way a stadium would've fit in Bohan, they made it sooooo small compared to the real Bronx.
