MikeyB Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 In Oct 2011 we were shown the first trailer. To all intents and purposes this looked to us like a finished game. What I would love to know is what have R* been doing for the next 2 years. It would be great to see an hour long documentary on how they design and produce the game. In the trailer, the areas we could see looked complete. There must be more than just tweaking going on. I expect the game at that stage lacked much in the way of audio and missions. Maybe they just concentrated on the visuals knowing they had to put out some sort of trailer quite early. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They obviously only showed us the complete bit's of the game for the first trailer, and as the game's development progressed they would show us more trailers to show that off. I'm pretty sure they even admitted they showed the trailer to early, which explains the long gap of no information. Everyone moaned and complained.. 12 months later they were suddenly in. I actually think a lot changed after the first trailer, they implemented a lot of the things people wanted. Just that the bits we saw looked complete, i.e. buildings, vehicles and character movements.
