Climbing Animations Discussion.

I wonder what the climbing over objects will be like?

Will there be more dynamic animation, or will it be like GTA IV?

 

In GTA IV you only have 2 animation for climbing such as--->

 

Hopping over an object.

Climbing on top of an object.

 

I would love it if it could be more fluid like that of Sleeping Dogs, It doesn't have to be as flashy but just enough to make it look natural.

Maybe implementing a flowing natural way of getting over an object where all you have to do is sprint up to an object and just "go over" it without having to press jump.

 

Example: You are approaching a alien spaceship who people believe to be fake but it wasn't, you thought that even if there were aliens they would look like a big headed green alien. Suddenly the spaceship and opens and the Alien from "Alien vs Predator" rushes out! You scramble away and runs as fast as you can! Upon approaching a fence...You can either press "square" to manually jump over the fence or keep tapping "X" to do a smooth "hop" over the fence animation, instead of pressing "square" and make it look unnatural.

 

Either way I'm fine with it, just that I would think it would be a nice feature. I ain't complaining cause in 8 days I will be VERY happy. Just have to make sure I'm the first one there at Gamestop for my preorder.
