I have a pretty strong feeling that you will not be able to efficiently clear high respect mission/heist content with a single player and mercs.

Being a lone wolf probably won't be very profitable, eventually joining a crew is ideal if you want to succeed.

This. +1

It will probably be a bit complicated, with backstabbings and various party-breakers. In time it will become decent, I think, but, ideally, you would want to play with friends - crew or just friends.

I'm sure it will be totally viable, and there will be tons of ways to make a profit in this game.

The more high-end heists with the really big payouts will require a crew, but there will be a massive amount of other things to do to earn.

I also think you will be able to pull of store robberies etc by yourself..

I do not think it will be a problem, I assume you are used to work alone anyway, more people involved, more risk.

You could theoretically lone wolf it. However you'd make easy prey for crews set up. I know that it would go against your Zodiac gimmick....but I'd probably go for a crew if I were you.

That'd make sense imo but it seems like R* really wanted the whole social club thing to be a major part of your online experience. I have no problem with doing missions by myself or having a couple of my friends to do stuff with either way it's gonna be fun.

LOL if you can heist a whole central bank yourself with all that security good luck, more psoils for you, but remember theres no health packs and i doubt you can respawn, im sure it wont be easy as walking in there yelling "this is your moment" then firing a couple of shots

There will be heavy security, you will need back up, and im sure the a,i will be shooting to thin air.

and im sure PMC will take a cut of the money!

I plan to lone wolf at the start. Eventually becoming a high end assassin. Team work really isn't my style. Most of the time they just get in the way.

GTA Online there's a big emphasis on co-op game play, All big heist require at least 2 users in play. That lone wolf sh*t gon leave you flat broke.

I don't know if that is actually confirmed or not.. sounds like an assumption.

We know that you can call in NPC's to help in place of actual players, obviously not as effective, but definitely easier to deal with at times.

Certainly! It depends where your conscience takes you though. I'll be starting off with a friend, two man army! Eventually we'll meet players, and build up members. Sometimes, I'll be lone wolfing, maybe bounty hunting other players if possible, or attempt to humiliating large crews by taking them out one at a time. Hell, may even betray some guys in a heist, depending on whether I suspect they're gonna shoot me afterwards.

I know a lot of interesting things are gonna happen in GTA Online. Eventually, I believe they'll push it up to 32 players and that's when things will get interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they're planning it, but if you start at 16, you get more breathing room, get used to the mechanics like R* have said.

I'd encourage lone wolfing, you'll create a story for yourself through it. Set your self survival challenges. See how long you can survive, completely immerse yourself!

Betrayal is usually grounds for shooting.

I wouldn't be opposed to working with a small team to earn some big cash.

Lone wolf would be fun every now and then but I'll be looking for a few people to crew up with.

I'm on 360 as "wandigo" if anyone wants to hook upl

Most of my real life friends don't play online so I'll have to lone wolf. Atleast I'm good at shooting (legend in mp3) so I'll be alright, if a crew wants some help, I'll give them a hand.

The SF police could have caught me that night if they had searched the park properly instead of holding road races with their motorcicles seeing who could make the most noise. The car drivers should have just parked their cars and sat there quietly waiting for me to come out of cover.

p.s. 2 cops pulled a goof abot 3 min after I left the cab. I was walking down the hill to the park when this cop car pulled up + one of them called me over + asked if I saw anyone acting suspicious or strange in the last 5 to 10 min + I said yes there was this man who was runnig by waveing a gun & the cops peeled rubber + went around the corner as I directed them + I disappeared into the park a block + a half away never to be seen again.

NPC are hella stupid. Anytime I'd recruit NPC for gang wars they get smoked.
