Nah, if I'm in a speedboat I'll get from one end of the map to the other way before you make it in a car. Planes are another story, but again, it's not like planes are gonna be easy to come by. I think you are forgetting LS isn't a hollow ring, there is inland too you know.... a car is a lot faster than a boat.I'm not forgetting. What I'm saying is if you need to travel long distance, a boat will get you to a dock quicker than any car, and from there you can travel the remainder by car. There are a whole lot of villages on the map that are out off reach for a boat or a boat is simply going to take a lot longer than a car to get anywhere quickly. Isn't Sandy Shores right next to the lake? You can certainly take a boat there. I'm actually glad there are streams and lakes cutting through the map rather than just a blob of land with water surrounding it. It makes it so that boats aren't completely useless. That's a great point, there's a lot of rivers and streams that will allow one to travel inland on boat! Squalos and Jetmaxes will be my main method of transportation. Look at real life islands, like the big island of Hawaii. When people need to go from one side of the island to the other, they certainly don't use boats. Most speed boats have top speeds in the range of 60-80mph. If you go a step above that, you get cigarette boats. The closest thing to a cigarette boat in the game would be the Jetmax, and it's on the lower end of the cigarette boat spectrum. The new 1,350 HP Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG cigarette boat only has a top speed of 134 mph (cruising speed is 110 mph). A car will get you to the other side of Blaine County before a boat will. Driving will likely be the most used method for me but certainly will use watercraft, aircraft, trains & whatever else we have at our disposal. Hopefully we can buy a property with a garage, airstrip, dock & helipad. Same here. I'm going to be using whatever I can to get around the map, not focusing on a single mode of transport.
