Responding to concerns of receiving Grand Theft Auto 5 in time for the September 17 release date, Simply Games sad: "We can confirm 100% that we guarantee to ship your copy(s) of this game on Monday September 16th. Every online retailer in Europe will be shipping this game on that specific date – not any earlier." The retailer added: "Over 95% of orders shipped using Royal Mail arrive the following day, so we fully expect your order to be with you on Tuesday 17th September – and no other online retailer will be able to improve on that!" The retailer notes that "over 95% of orders shipped using Royal Mail arrive the following day". Simply Games' confirmation follows GAME's message to customers earlier this week, stating it will not be shipping the game earlier than September 16. Looks like Simply Games who always send out games early wont be, so don't expect to get it early now. People will get this game on monday or tuesday no matter what R* says. Look at the fiasco with IV when it got released early, and IV was f*cking sh*t. So if V got released early I'm sure R* would be pissed. Anybody that releases it early after being told not to will probably go on R*'s sh*t list and probably won't be getting any future business with them. (probably a little far fetched but it wouldn't surprise me if that's how it went down in the future) Good job I only have to worry about getting to my midnight release on time. There will also be some stores selling the game on the 13th. So what's the point in all this? Someone is gonna get the game early no matter how hard Rockstar try to prevent it. The guy told me that the SE and CE would arrived in shop next saturday for the ealier, and on the 16th for the later, only for the pre-orders. We would be advised by sms when it's happening.
