As you know from 1/10/2013 GTA Online is launching up, why wont Rockstar make season patches just for GTA Online. So if we went into winter season, rockstar staff could make a free patch for everyone which will contain christmas hats, santa beard that could be bought from the in-game shop. In addition, rockstar could add car customization with a big 'Christmas' logo that you could put on your car, bike, plane. Aswell as adding christmas trees on the streets. This is just some examples of those kind of patches. I also thought of something like lottery ? From PSN Store you could buy 25 Christmas crates for i dont know, lets say $10. In those crates you could have christmas weapons/clothes/cars. This allows people to show off their items when the christmas season is gone. Not only weapons but some people might win a Santa Sleigh which will be a cool airplane to show off. Since this is a free of cost multiplayer this will allow Rockstar to gain money. I think it would be cool, but thats your opinion. And patches for fixes could be included in the season patches For example on rockstar's site it could say "Ready for christmas ? Hell any game with microtransactions. It has proven to be a very profitable model and I'm sure Rockstar will try to emulate it with GTA:O. And it's just gonna be cosmetics so no accusations of R* selling power. Not that GTA is a competitive game anyway. I never have any issues with games, and then idiots like you lot tell R* to come out with unnecessary ones that end up screwing my game up.
