Hey guys sorry if this has already been discussed (gta forum n00b) but will we be able to use indicators on vehicles in the game? I haven't heard anything about it but this has been something I've always wanted in GTA games as I love the realism of driving games (we all have played the 'good driver' game)

I loved indicating on the 'Driver' games but always thought GTA was missing out

Well we can switch off headlights/ retract convertible roofs so I'm guessing we'll have much more interactivity with vehicles in V. I wouldn't use them unless I'm bored though.

I don't believe we can use indicators in the game, but in IGN's Grand Theft Auto V preview, they did mention that you can turn the car's engine on and off.

Could be done in IV.

Huh, goes to show that I didn't pay attention to that in IV, my apologies.

it may be just me who finds the pleasure in then but I really love pretending to be a good driver in the game and using indicators as you would in real life

only on PC through a mod, unfortunately I have never had a high spec PC to play the game on, I rely on my 360

it would be nice if you can turn the engine of while yor in the car, in gta iv you can only do it when you hold the exit button when your going out of the car

Pedestrians in GTA IV could utilize indicators and I assume they can in GTA V as well however, Im not sure if protags can but seeing as they included retractable roofs and controllable headlights, I don't think it'd be a far fetched assumption that they would relinquish the ability of indicators to players. I don't see how that will work though; one way I can imagine it to work is in conjunction with a waypoint but what if you're just randomly driving with no waypoint or destination therefore, my final consensus would be that indicators won't be in the game.
