Champers Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 I wouldn't mind having to refuel in the game, sure, it'd be realistic, but I'd have to give credit to Rockstar for not implementing it, as I think we all would like to focus on the story line, the beauty of the map, the activities and such rather than fueling up at the nearest gas station. They also removed the feature with the protags getting fat in relation to the amount of food they consumed. San andreas was the game changer because they experimented with alot of features that were absent from gta iv and I imagine gta v to be the sum of all the innovative developments rockstar experimented with in san andreas along with the removal of some inconvenient features. I think it'd be cool to be in a chase and run outta gas. I think it would be fun to pull into a gas station and gas up. Go in, pay, then leave. How we supposed to fill up the Jerry can? stobe187 Posted September 8, 2013 Share Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) I'd like to know if all these statements about playing with one character only and leaving the other two out almost completely will hold up once you actually get to use the character-switching mechanic and see the opportunities it brings in full effect. I personally think it's f*cking retarded to limit yourself to using just one of the three protagonists since the whole essence and purpose of the mechanic is to expose you to extremely varied locations, situations and moods. On the fuel issue, I think it has pros and cons. It would be cool to have that extra element of realism, but a fuel game mechanic in itself is a very big alteration to the game.
