How are you going to explore Los santos?

I'm gonna do a few missions at first and then go out and explore every bit of the map and just enjoy the views and the detail that GTA V has to offer.

First time I want to experience it in a muscle car, probably a Sabre GT listening to Radar Love as I drive the country roads!

Do the first mission, then take a drive around los santos, maybe go to the beach to look at the people and the scenery. Go for a quick swim or on a jet ski. As the gametime moves into late afternoon I'm gonna hop in a car and take a drive up to the vinewood sign and look at the scenery as the sun sets and the city lights come on. Then when it's dark drive back down into the city, rob a gas station and with the money find a strip bar and get myself a lap dance

Im gonna play till im first allowed to explore by myself, then immediatley go catch me a train or metro tram and go on a 'commute' to find me a Dundreary Regina

Then im going on a national lampoons type roadtrip

I'll probably start the game off by getting a few of the opening missions out of the way and then exploring the city by driving up and down the sidewalks in a wide vehicle

My plan was to do the first missions as standard. Then beeline it to the airport for a bit of chopper air exploration stopping off at interesting sites. Then probably do the whole hud off thing and try get back. Also enjoying the public transport and walk around the neighbourhood like you moved in ideas.

Ill explore the 'Bev Hills' space, the rich streets and stuff, ride around los santos for like a hour or so, see things, go to a beach, swim check the ocean then do missions and explore while doing missions.

Find the nearest Bmx(if there is still one at grove street) and then try and find the preorder bonus blimp and then explore

When the introduction missions are done and I am able to roam the world freely, I will find a bike and view the city. Sight seeing from the ground level to see how everything in the city interacts with people, animals, etc. Plus, I want to get a feel for the controls and how everything operates.

First chance I get, I will BMX to the top of Chiliad with Mike, and then jump off, sans 'chute. I will then shut the game off and go play Saints Row IV because I hate myself.

Complete maybe the first 3-5 missions, then explore around. Maybe look for some good cars around Richman and Vinewood and take it to Los Santos Customs.

as others have said, do the first few missions until free roam is available, then i'm gonna walk around a bit to soak in the atmosphere and R* detail. After that - grab a car, any old thing will do, and go for a slow drive around. I'm not looking to go airborne until well into the story. For me, I've seen plenty of photo's and footage from the air and am happy to experience that part when the time comes.

I'll probably mix it up in regards to doing missions and exploring. I'll want to drive around and explore as I go, but at the same time I'll want to leave some of the map not completely explored for when I've completed the game so I still have plenty to do.

Personally I am going to do the first 3 or 4 missions then go explore

I'm gonna do the first few missions, just to get the controls down and get a good handle on the gameplay. Once I think I'm ready, I'm gonna find a bike and start exploring around the city. With huge open world games like this, I don't like to rush this aspect of the game, as it's the most enjoyable (imo), so I'm gonna take my time and if for example I find something interesting, I'll decide if I wanna check it out or leave it unexplored for later on. I'm also going to do a lot of experimenting to see how the peds/police interact with the environment.
