lloydo
I would love to see something attributed to Freedom Fighters. A highly underated game that deserved a follow up. Also, Max Payne and Hitman should be done right.
da_KING
The Getaway and The Getaway: Black Monday. Those two games are bassicly a movie already, but, It would be nice to see them in some kind of 'real life' form.
darthYENIK
Splinter Cell, Gears of War, Kane and Lynch is announced and I believe SC was too back when Chaos Theory came out. Yeah, there was a teaser for the movie in the game. Nothing ever came of it.

If I recall correctly you got a chance http://www.metacritic.com/movie/getaway, but unfortunately it's example of the rule regarding movies based on games. DJ Arrt
I think GTA V could make a great movie because the plot seems good, but it'd be impossible.
The Pizza Delivery Guy
You know what I think? Games have gotten so advanced, pretty, and cinematic that they may just as well be movies in their own right. Games like Super Mario and Mega Man from back in the day would make such great movies because of how little the games had for cinimacy (is that a word?) back in the 80s. Now that games have come so far, they are almost interactive movies at this point. Which is why games with such little story like Portal and SCP would be great movies. They don't have many cinematics and have lots of room for story development and plot. That's all...
Fireman
GTA V, because the plot seems good Oh, GTAForums! Sanitarium could also make a rather good horror movie, but you'd somehow have to replace the puzzles with more action, which might be difficult. The story itself would work in a movie though. Finn 7 five 11
I don't like the idea of Games to movies, If the game has a great storyline, then good, it should remain a game and have the game convey the cinematic experience.
Reaper Madness
I don't know about movies but the Last of Us should replace The Walking Dead.
poklane
I would really like a Black Ops (1 and 2) film. I know those 2 games aren't the greatest, but I think if it's done right it could be a cool movie. Also, I'd love an InFamous (Cole's story) movie, if they would do the special effects good it would be EPIC. Chukkles
No video games should be movies. Right now, tell me an awesome movie that came from a game? None. Games are interactive movies in their own right and are only ruined when someone tries to make it a film. Finn 7 five 11

R* wouldn't allow it now they fully own the IP. They know what a mistake it would be. Edited September 12, 2013 by Chukkles

mrpain
I know this seems like a crazy idea, but I always thought Team Fortress 2 could be a great animated comedy movie. They simply just have to keep the current art style the game has, come up with a generic storyline that doesn't really involve reds vs blues, maybe more of Mann VS Machine. Just watch all the Meet The Team videos. It'll be like Ocean's Eleven but with more laughs and mayhem. Mitsuha and Sneakerhead.
Chukkles
I hope all your wishes come true, because they will all be done as well as Superman Returns. Get ready for Jerry Bruckheimer to ruin all your gaming dreams. I mean the original creator of Star Wars and Indiana Jones couldn't recapture the feeling of those original movies in movies made nowadays. How do you expect anyone to capture the feel of a game you hold so dearly to your heart? You are all asking for trouble. Or should I say "you're all going to die down here". Twang.
I think Metal Gear Solid as an HBO series would be amazing. A single movie couldn't capture the magic, though. Even if they organized it chronologically (Snake Eater through Guns of the Patriots), it would be an intense spy drama.
Tracksuit Hitman
You're all forgetting about the ironic similarities between Eacape from NY and MGS 2. I agree with Sakuya, though. A series set before MGS 1 which follows through the whole series with several TV seasons would be magnificent. aka geobst
