`Black Widow 3
LCS definetly deserves "GTA" title in all terms I believe,it is basicly a re-created GTA III for PSP with much more refined gameplay, more interesting storyline with a protagonist that can talk, new side activities, character appearance options, stealable helicopters at least in missions etc. VCS is a better innovation on VC though. I like VCS more. Atmosphere wise it is more up to me also. Edited September 2, 2017 by `Black Widow
Crossbones 767
I really loved Lcs ...the characters were awesome ...the plot was great..a classic Gta game.
jaljax 902
It was good, just the down fall was the story... i didn't really enjoy it But other then that Toni felt more like a talking version of Claude.
SonnyNapoli 89
Don't know about that, but the game definietly has it's unique style. There's a quite a difference between 3 LC atmosphere and Liberty City Stories, as for me. And the storyline is one of my favorites.
El Penguin Bobo 3,328
tbh, i thought LCS was a good game. It wasn't the best GTA but i liked it. And i enjoyed it. In fact, it was my first GTA and it got me to be a GTA fan like right now. I don't know why was it underrated.
Journey_95 3,919
Its one of the weaker one's, especially in terms of story and characters. Toni was lackluster to say the least and his story wasn't engaging at all. Not to mention it was lacking in terms of content, VCS was overall the superior game. Overall I'd say it's the weakest GTA along with VCS however. gta advance is way worse. Edited July 21, 2020 by NewGuybj
Limefong 275
Eh, I don't think LCS is all that good, I would give it an 7/10. Storyline: 6/10 Characters: 8/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Overall: 7/10 5 hours ago, NewGuybj said: gta advance is way worse. Yeah, Adv was the worst 3D era game (Should be obvious by now) But both the protagonist (Mike) and the story are alright. Edited July 21, 2020 by Limefong

Yeah I like Mike as protagonist. And the story is ok.
Brian X 94
Just In general with the 3D liberty era GTAs, I played these two after playing the infamous SA and VC in years to come but playing it from a portable experience was reinvigorating in a sense that it encapsulated the 3D sandbox, 'do whatever the f*ck you want' type of game on the 'go'. I played the PlayStation 2 Version the last Even tho it has very unforgivable frame rate, yet it's ironically my favorite platform to play it on; with retaining the prevalence of the grittish, NY atmosphere of GTA 3 with of course improved graphics. Obviously a lot of people despise the fact that it stripped away so much for a entry released after SA, however I was more happy to see a lot of the over the top mission structures absent from the game along side aircrafts (its hella odd how helis were intentionally omitted), as it kinda gave it that grounded approach and shifted towards the gruntish crime element just like in GTA 4 (my fav). It was cool to see the PCJ return in a modernized fashion. Storywise, I agree with the majority; its probably one of the weakest, especially since we had not proper fleshed antagonist towards the later half of the game (only an implicating enemy to the deuteragonist, who is Sal) , and also given the fact that Toni is essentially a 'talking version of Claude. Though Danny Mastrogiorgio did a banger job with the voice acting, gotta be my fav GTA voice actor. I liked the gravitation towards the mafia families who weren't really present in 3, as it created that 90s soprano atmosphere but it woulda been neat if Toni could recruit bodyguards, especially towards the end of the game as him and sal 'run' things. The Soundtrack was a big step up from GTA 3. Playing from Pop Rock, to Bubblegum, to House Music was a great decision on the music departments ends, though they shoulda made the radio stations more longer like in the other GTA games. Overall, even though I played the game later on but to me, it just focused on stuff that was necessary and expanded on some things like running with almost all weapons, even if they stripped down on some stuff like climbing (only time which it somewhat aggrevated my highs was for the hidden packages), but overall it got the job done for me and sometimes I like to just go out for a spin with the Phobos VT in the Newport Strip.
