hulkhogan1
I just read a topic on Gamefaqs about people having problems with getting discs out of steelbook cases without feeling like they're going to break the disc. I've never played a game in a steelbook case before; should this be a legitimate concern?
Skorge
No you get two cases as this has been a problem for many steel books previously, you'll have a normal case with the disk inside, and separately you will have the steel book, same as in gears of war judgment. Doctor_Baconator
I just read a topic on Gamefaqs about people having problems with getting discs out of steelbook cases without feeling like they're going to break the disc. I've never played a game in a steelbook case before; should this be a legitimate concern? The good thing about discs is that they have a certain degree of flex before deforming or shattering. Just go slowly around the centre rim, and apply more force to the box than to the disc, and you should be OK. Tip: I use CD sleeves for any games that have an awkward case, and slot them in where the manual goes. Makes it much easier. Edit: Your username is appropriate for this question. Aeleys
I've never had a problem with a steel case, but then again I don't rip out the disc like an idiot and then claim it was the case's fault.

wwinterj
It can be a problem to get out been as it's a steelbook but I wouldn't be worried. Just be gentle with her and she will love you long time.
AshMan306
Steel book covers for discs are a bad idea. Cod black ops 2 ce has a steel book but the center button don't really go far when pushed in. Unlike the plastic ones that give you more lee way. Just be careful.

RandyChimp
Genuinely not going to be a problem for me personally. Assuming I don't break it when I first take the disc out of the case, GTA5 won't be leaving my PS3 for a few months.

NYC PATROL
It all depends on that little plastic push piece in the middle. (Which I don't know what it's called) Some are easier than others.

Yep. Same thing with Assassins Creed 3. I since traded the game in but still have the empty steel book case in my shelf. I'm hoping it's the same with GTA5 CE. Every time I've gotten a steel book it has never came with a regular case just the steel case. All though with dead island riptide and assassins creed III you were given a steel book just for pre ordering the game.
Skorge
As I said, every new steel book game comes with a normal Case that holds the disk, for more proof look at the image of collectors edition and special edition, you can clearly see the steel book and the normal case together. I'm pretty sure like all new game you'll get a steel book for show and a normal retail box containing the disk.
