Is the modelling part going faster now or it just looks to me like that?

I'm putting in the time right now, but it still takes forever.

This is because interiors are extremely detailed and require a lot of effort for good lighting. Skipping this step would mean the models wouldn't be in harmony with the rest of the game.

 

When done manually, polygon by polygon, it's not a very pleasant process at all. I've completed the interior model in 2 days, got it in the game flawlessly, but getting the lighting right is taking over 3 days now and I'm still not satisfied.

 

I could just do it quick and get BEGINit 3 interiors a week, but they wouldn't look anywhere as good. Either way, you can be sure we are still helping BEGINit and will get everything done relatively soon!

 

 

Although I would love to share everything I've made so that you guys can follow the progress, I don't want to spoil it for you when you get to play the finished game in all it's glory. It'll be worth the wait!

This may seem a bit random, but are you guys going to do anything with Apartment 3C? I think it was mentioned already, but I'm not sure. It didn't serve a lot of purpose in VC, besides an easter egg, so I was wondering if you guys were going to make it a safehouse or something to give it usefulness?

That's a really good idea, it always annoyed me it was blocked off.

 

Also two places for potential interiors; you guys probably have enough ideas but I always felt it was weird these two had no interiors:

 

 

 

The first one would obviously be a music store, maybe duplicate the music store in North Point Mall. I always thought the second one was a hotel.

BEGINit actaully asked me to do that one (Rock City). I mentioned in a previous post that I might do it if I get around to it.

I actually just completed 2 interiors, but I'm not going to share them here because I want you guys to explore them for yourself when everything is finished. Instead, I have 2 cars
