No offense nor anything but if you want to report bugs in here, I'd edit all your posts into a single one cause you're spamming the thread like that. I recommend to do that on the Discord though.

In every game there is a graphic limit, and that limit is imposed for an important reason: smooth gameplay, not everyone have a perfect monster PC that is able to handle games well with insane graphics. devs, as a result, should consider that fact, and to ensure a  great gameplay experience for everyone, they have to be restricted when developing this mod.

For instance, when you read a review of a game, one of the most important points is the "Framerate", you cannot make a game for only those who are equipped with gaming PCs with high specs and everything, I hope you get the point.

You're right maybe everyone has a PC Requirements... 800 Mhz Intel Pentium III or 800 Mhz AMD Athlon or 1.2 Ghz Intel Celeron or 1.2 Ghz AMD Duron processor. 128 MB of RAM. 32 MB video card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers ("GeForce" or better) 8X speed CD / DVD drive. Sound Card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers. To run those graphics! Just look at GTA Re: Liberty City Stories as they managed to emulate those PS2 graphics.

Why? There is barely a visual difference, the only visual difference is the Timecycle and more realistic character designs.

Many of this mod's playerbase would like the interiors to be in a seprate realm for three main reasons:

1-Framerate

2-it fixes the rain bug and many others.

3-it makes them feel like actual interiors.

 

At least make a poll about the matter and let us decide.

The Rain is easily fixable... it's just some map settings.

Idk if the makers still need this but I can do a bit of voice acting if it's for something minor.  I can do spanish and English (my English pronunciation isn't that good so maybe it's better for a Latino character or something), just in case you guys need some voice acting (obviously for free lel).

 

 

Anyway, the mod is lit, can't wait to see more content added to it.

1 - Vice City is possibly the most optimised GTA game, reaching over 300fps on most machines without frame limiter, so I'd say FPS is not an issue.

 

2 - The rain bug is just an oversight, we didn't add culling (which blocks the rain) due to lack of time as it was a last minute thing.

 

3 - I get it feeling more like an actual interior, it would be nice if we had rotating dynamic doors but to my knowledge that isn't possible (without new code, anyway).

 

Fun fact though, VC had interiors in the overworld in the beta, just like Shine o Vice! We'll discuss maybe moving them to another world anyways and we'll see.

It is somewhat difficult to find a good voice actor as you know vice city is inspired by florida miami of real life and in that city abounds with people from the caribbean cuba, puerto rico, and if you know some Spanish not all the people of Latin America speak with the same accent.

Maybe other world (oblivion) or world seperator will be good for interiors.

It's looks like bit strange that shape also we need more safehouses / profitable places / assets / businesses.. (as purchaseable) 

 

Maybe you / your team will design an interior for Rodrigo shop and it's will be our first asset. Whatever..

 

But we don't have any garages. When I played the mod every time I wanted to save my favourite cars on the game but i couldn't... I think this is a big issue for the gameplay. Maybe you will add a Cleo for "save car anywhere" and this problem will solve. It'll depends on your calls.

Certainly, FPS is not a problem for most people nowadays (lol it is a problem for me though) rain is also easy to fix. but there stays only one problem: ambient sounds: it wouldn't be convenient if we get to hear some water or city sounds inside in an "interior" as well as car engine stuff and other things, not only that but it seems complicated and mostly impossible to fix if you ever consider solving the issue due to technical "limitations"

 

what about making a poll? the mod's playerbase is going to decide after all, as far as I remember I am not the only one to show concern about the matter, I really appreciate your work, time and devotion but I still think there are reasons that seem to be persuading enough to make you change your mind and comply with our desire.

First-hand: REVIEW

This is by far the best Total Conversion for VC as far as I've known. The quality of custom contents is insane: Vice City Hotel, Havana PD, Final Build Construction, New Downtown, etc. Even with the interior of Flint's employer (Jeffrey's restaurant), the inner decoration looks so groovy and real, compared with the original version.

This makes me feel the flashbacks from the 80's, and the gaming experience is so genuine that I could perceive it as one of Rockstars' games

Very well done. I can feel so much love and passion of you guys for the game ❤️  Kudos to the team. BEGINit once said 'The fact that this mod is still alive is a miracle by itself.' :) Indeed! After all, those 10 years were yours to spend (copy of VC's last mision heh). The team's hard work didn't go unnoticed! Let's hope we can enjoy more contents from this mod as time goes by :D  I'm super HYPED right now!!

 

P/s: I found a FIX for those using Win 7, 8, 10 with a bug called (0xc000007b). What you need to do is opening your Explorer, open C drive (or your main Windows drive), then open Windows folder, access system32 folder, then search keywords 'd3d' in the search box, Ctrl + A and delete every file you can find (some of them will be un-deletable, don't worry, just hit Skip). After done, repeat the process with SysWOW64 folder (also in C drive). After deleting 'd3d' files from those 2 folders, re-install DirectX then your game should be playable.
