Look at the bright side- while GTA Online is getting silly space laser guns and all other kinds of unauthentic crap that don't belong in Grand Theft Auto, Speccy is simply giving a charming 80's makeover to a game that can do with it. I think he's doing a great job all things considered.

Been a long day. I've recently uploaded Dev Build 0.3 and @Silent should have a PM from me containing the download link. Some bugs are present of course, but it shouldn't be anything game-breaking at this stage... Getting savegames to load is our main concern, as everyone already knows. Hopefully Silent can help us out and BEGINit will be happy with the changes so that we can finally share this mod with you guys!

For a number of reasons, I reverted the HUD layout to its former appearance. If anyone wants the alternative HUD version, a download link to the GTA VC Seter config file will be provided. You'll need to get the plugin yourself and copy it into your VC directory, together with the config file. It shouldn't be too problematic.

So after a few hurdles with getting the game to work (namely outdated third party scripts and weird leftovers), I did save the game after the first mission and indeed, crashing when attempting to load it.

 

It's gonna be interesting.

I thought there were opcodes for such things?

What is making the game crash when loading the saves?

nah, it's not worth it. The tutorial was very old, anyway. (Yes, i know it was a joke, but you know, the internet is crazy, so you never know when someone takes this joke seriously and actually witch hunt this fellow)

Since last year we've been working non stop on Shine o Vice and have made major progress towards the first release of the mod!

The team has lots of problems to fix and tweak, but we're finally getting closer to a solid release for the project.

Don't think it's based on the Yankee but you guys know better. Leonazix made the model for SoV.

Brilliant work ! But,when the mod is released are you guys going to update the mod daily or release it and never touch it again ? And i think that the enforcerfront bumper  looks too flat and ugly (no offence)

This is going to be the "Act 1" release of Shino o' Vice, basically like a 25+ mission preview demo. The staff is going to periodically update the mod for a potential "Act 2" release, and eventually the final full version once everything is completed.
