True, and as far as I know not even all team members have the access to the mod files. Though I was thinking more something like a showcase video consisting of pictures from posts in this topic, followed by textual description with some convenient 80s instrumental or something. The mod's theme would be better but there isn't any at the moment if I recall correctly. What is with that while we're at it, did it get sorted out in the meantime?

I'm posting this from my phone, but I have most of the Picador ready. I even added the surf board extra (it turned out really good, in my opinion, I can hardly wait to show it off).

I see your perspective, but that sounds a little bit like that classic Movie Maker showcase made by elders.

If you go that way, a website would be more simple and more creative. In that case, I can do it and I will be proud of it, since it is a "medal" showing the greatness of a mod.

Anyway enough it's getting way out of hand.

It seems like every time me or someone else posts a harmless little flicker post it turns into a huge drama fest.

The whole concept of flickerposting was simply exchanging short posts just like the man said a page ago.

But enough is enough.

 

Let's get back to cars and stuff.

Guys, take it easy! I find this pretty interesting and I wanted to share my findings with you.

 

I didn't expect my single post to spawn an entire page and so much activity from you. It was an experiment and I can conclude that our hypothesis was satisfied. At this rate, the thread would grow at an unprecedented rate of 1.5 pages in just 24 hours. The interesting part is that this appears to be a very popular strategy to increase the popularity of a thread because it enables a steady inflow of posts even when actual content is non-existent (people are attracted to drama like flies on a steamy turd). We can observe it over and over across all popular threads, to some extent.

 

But of course this isn't our intention here. We will get back on track now and I think we can rest assured that Daitojo and Mario are no longer hostile towards eachother like they used to be in past. I like the show run by Mega and Kalvin and salute it in every thread, not just here. Hope that anyone who sees a problem with it gets a sense of humor (wow, TRIGGERED)

 

The last page wasn't all spam as we have had some good ideas. It would indeed be nice to have a video or something showcasing the new cars altogether. As far as other things go, even concerning the map, I know BEGINit would prefer not to give it all away. He wants you to explore for yourselves when the mod is finished and released.

Quite a good idea, could be replaced by some kind of DC10/MD-11 or a 747-200/300? Those were quite common in the 80's.

Sorry to let all of you guys down or well actually I'm not sorry at all I did not promise anything.

But I won't be able to finish my truck.

Because I'm simply too busy with real life right now so I hope you 'all understand.

And to be honest I'm kind of losing interest.

There's been no sign of BEGINit and I'm starting to worry if this mod 'll ever be released.

So I'm not going to even bother making anymore content for this mod.

Because with BEGINit gone AWOL again leaving us with no word or update I'm simply losing interest.

I'm out.

I mean C'MON..We waited YEARS for this.I can't play all my life gta vice city.I should enjoy it now when I have some free time ..
I have a huge respect for him doing this amazing thing but when you decide to release something in public, some people put their hopes, trust and time in your mod..so it's not your decission anymore to "let go" the mod

Exactly it's no longer BEGINit's mod it's the people's mod and it should belong to the people because various people worked on this mod.

He can't just start something big and go AWOL and leave us with no word especially since this mod is in it's final stages.

It would be a pure waste of time and a shame if this doesn't get released.
