Wouldn't touch sky broadband ever again.. their 20mb line used to give me under 1 mb constantly.. if I complained for hours each week they took it up to 5mb.. absolute joke and misery.

 

Moved to virgin and its flawless.. 100mb, cheaper and its never down. Bt is pretty good also.

those are real life speeds, I downloaded the ps3 preorder in +/- 6 minutes

look up the No. 1 country by ISP speeds and prices.

edit: forgot to add, free unlimited wifi hotspots all over the city

However I can play online with any game I own without issues. GTA:O will be the same. Fiber optic broadband is now avaible in my area so I'll upgrade at some point. Just not yet as I have no need to.

My main line is Verizon FiOS Quantum Tier 2, I get 85/40mbps down/up. It's fast. Latency is like <5ms on average.

 

If for whatever reason my internet or power goes out, I keep my Xbox 360, my 1920x1200 digital display and Logitech Z-5500 5.1 1100w speaker system on my battery backup. So then I just use my phone as a wireless hotspot and bam, 4G LTE on Verizon Wireless to game online with. Average speeds on my phone's tether is like 50ms and 30/15mbps down/up.

F*ck people like you. I hope to god Rockstar actually use dedicated servers this time because FOR WHATEVER F*CKING REASON, people with sh*t tier connections like yours ALWAYS end up as host and cause EVERYONE ELSE to lag and suffer. F*ck you.
